The project has developed methods and guidelines for analysis, documentation, and management of the project fruit crops and wild fruit species. Produced recommendations are focused on the following crops, important not only for the region but also globally : apricot (Prunus armeniaca), cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera), grapevine (Vitis sp.), pomegranate (Punica granatum), pear (Pyrus sp.), fig (Ficus carica), almond (Amygdalus communis), sea buckthorn (Hippophae sp.), walnut (Juglans regia), peach (Persica vulgaris), pistachio (Pistacia vera), and apple (Malus sp.).
This information will help to implement more effectively practical activities to meet the goals and objectives of conservation and sustainable management of temperate fruit crops.
